Description:

Join the Ambassador Club as we explore the historic and unique sites in northern Clay County. We'll begin our day touring Jesse and Frank James' farm home in Kearney, Missouri. Our step-on guide will give the history and overview of the Clay County area. After our tour, we'll drive to Excelsior Springs for lunch and shopping at the Willow Spring Mercantile, which is a locally–owned purveyor of great food and Missouri wine.

In the afternoon, we'll have time to enjoy the Excelsior Springs Hall of Waters Visitors Center, with its unique Mayan architecture and world's longest water bar. Each guest will take home authentic mineral water.

We'll complete our day with a tour of the recently restored Elms Hotel and Spa, which is the well-known landmark in Excelsior Springs. The hotel first opened for business in 1888 and became one of the most desired destinations in the country. We'll hear the history of the Elms storied existence and 100 plus year survival against all odds.
